πŸ“– The Manual Futures Trading Guide

How to use this dashboard's live MEXC data and signals to open your own futures positions on MEXC β€” step by step.

1 Β· What the dashboard is doing

The dashboard is connected to MEXC's real-time futures feed (the same tick data MEXC's own site uses). Every second it recomputes five classic indicators on the live candles and combines them into one score from βˆ’100 (max short) to +100 (max long):

ComponentWhat it measuresWeight
EMA 21 / 55 / 200Trend direction β€” is the market structurally going up or downΒ±30
RSI 14Momentum β€” is the move healthy (55–72) or already exhausted (>72)Β±18
MACD histogramAcceleration β€” is momentum still growingΒ±15
Session VWAPWho is in control today β€” buyers (price above) or sellers (below)Β±12
ADX 14Trend strength β€” amplifies the score in strong trends, dampens it in chopΓ—1.15 / Γ—0.55
Verdicts: score β‰₯ +55 β†’ STRONG LONG Β· β‰₯ +25 β†’ LONG Β· ≀ βˆ’55 β†’ STRONG SHORT Β· ≀ βˆ’25 β†’ SHORT Β· otherwise NEUTRAL (don't trade).

When the verdict is LONG or SHORT, the dashboard also draws a trade plan on the chart: suggested entry, a stop-loss 1.2Γ—ATR away (ATR = the market's current average candle range, so the stop breathes with volatility), and two take-profits at risk:reward 1:1 and 1:2.

2 Β· Reading a signal like a checklist

  1. Check the verdict on TWO timeframes. Best trades: 15m and 5m agree (e.g. both LONG). If 15m says SHORT and 5m says LONG β€” skip, that's chop.
  2. Check ADX β‰₯ 20. Below that, the "reasons" list will literally warn you the market is choppy β€” signals are unreliable in chop.
  3. Check the reasons list. Each line explains a component. If RSI shows "overbought", entering a fresh LONG is late β€” wait for a pullback toward EMA21 or VWAP.
  4. Check funding rate (top grid). Very positive funding (>0.05%) means longs are crowded β€” shorts get paid; extreme values often precede squeezes.
  5. Only act on STRONG signals when you're new. Plain LONG/SHORT is for experienced scaling.

3 Β· Sizing the position (the most important step)

Use the calculator on the dashboard. The rule it implements:

position size = (capital Γ— risk%) Γ· stop distance
You decide only ONE risk number β€” how much money you lose if the stop is hit. Everything else follows. Leverage does not change your risk β€” it only changes how much margin is locked.

Example with 1,000 USDT capital, 1% risk, BTC at 62,000, stop 500 away: risk = 10 USDT β†’ size = 10 Γ· 500 = 0.02 BTC β‰ˆ 1,240 USDT notional. At 5Γ— leverage that locks 248 USDT margin. The calculator also converts to MEXC contract "Vol" (1 BTC contract = 0.0001 BTC), here: 200 Vol.

4 Β· Placing the trade on MEXC β€” click by click

App or web, USDT-M Perpetual

  1. 1Open MEXC β†’ Futures β†’ USDT-M, search the symbol shown on the dashboard, e.g. BTC/USDT perpetual.
  2. 2Top-left of the order panel: set margin mode to Isolated and leverage to your chosen value (e.g. 5Γ—).
  3. 3Choose order type: Limit at the dashboard's entry price (or Market if the signal is STRONG and moving).
  4. 4In the quantity field enter the Vol / contracts number from the calculator (MEXC counts futures in contracts β€” the calculator already converts).
  5. 5Before submitting, tick TP/SL on the order form: paste the dashboard's stop-loss and take-profit prices. Never submit a futures order without a stop.
  6. 6Press Open Long if the verdict is LONG, Open Short if SHORT.
  7. 7Manage: at TP1 close 50% and move the stop to entry (breakeven) β€” the rest rides to TP2 risk-free. If the dashboard verdict flips against you before TP1, close manually.

5 Β· The rules that keep you alive

⚠️ Reality check. This dashboard computes classic technical indicators on live MEXC data. That is real information, not a crystal ball β€” no indicator predicts the future; they estimate probabilities. Futures with leverage can liquidate your entire margin. Trade only money you can afford to lose. Nothing here is financial advice.
